Potentiometers:

The wire wound potentiometers are manufactured in a wide range starting from 1 watt to 5000 watt. These may be open type potentiometers, Perforated type and Graded type potentiometers. The standard tolerance is ±10% but closer tolerance can also be supplied.

Special Features of Potentiometers

1 Watt, 2 Watt and 3 Watts potentiometers housed in compact, robust and attractive moulded bakelite bodies.
The former of 25 watts to 5000 watts potentiometers is made of vitrified porcelain.
The best quality Cu, Ni or Ni, Cr alloy wire tapes, depending upon the requirements is used.
Copper graphite permanently lubricated brush contact is used
The winding is held firmly by vitreous enamel or silicone coating to prevent movement and to provide sound protection
Bright Zinc Nickel plated spring steel brush arm is used
Glazed porcelain brush arm insulating rotor is involved
The best quality spindle is fitted in wire wound potentiometers
